Our dear friend and colleague Steve tragically lost his long battle with cancer on Boxing Day last year!!! Steve had many passions in life, the two women in his life Lorrae and Annabel, the mighty Exeter Chiefs, good times with his friends and golf (to name a few)!!

Steve was a great amateur golfer, playing to a good standard all throughout his life (photo above following a hole in one at Exeter Golf Club), even making it to the final of the national Daily Mail knock outs!!! Steve was a well known member of Exeter Golf and Country Club and very popular with many of the golf section!

With this in mind we thought it would be fitting as his friends and colleagues to donate a bench to Exeter Golf and Country Club. The intention is to locate the bench on the penultimate 17th hole, so golfers can share a short rest and a few laughs before the challenging final holes!!
