£315raised of £680 target by 15 supporters

Weʼre raising £680 to Support the African Children's Choir stay in Plymouth 19th to 27th January 2019. Any support welcomed.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

The African Children's Choir UK Winter Tour is coming to Plymouth from 19th to 27th January. These amazing children, many of whom are orphans bring joy and hope to everyone who meets them snd hears their performances. There are 17 Ugandan girls and boys aged 9 to 11. In Plymouth, we are hosting the choir children and their chaperones in host families and have received some very kind support from local businesses for their leisure time but we still need to cover a few more meals/snacks/drinks for the group while they are here and also pay for the hire of two of the venues where they are performing.
If you are local we have tickets on sale for the concerts so that would be a great way for you to support the work of this amazing organisation, changing thousands of children's lives throughout Africa, and attend a wonderful concert. Alternatively you may just wish to send a donation (and believe me any amount will be very gratefully received and appreciated) to support their remaining needs for the week in Plymouth. Thank you so much for reading this appeal and please get involved and share, share, share. Blessings to everyone at this special time of year.

Thanks to a very generous donation of £100 from someone who wishes to remain anonymous, we're nearly half way to our £680 target. If anyone would like to buy a keyring for £2.50 or make a donation, however small, every penny will make a difference and will be very gratefully received. Thank you too to everyone who has already bought concert tickets, your support is so appreciated. These wonderful children bring joy and hope wherever they go. Let's give them a huge Plymouth welcome!!
