    Story

On Friday (Sept. 28), a 7.5-magnitude earthquake hit a few areas in Central Sulawesi, about 21 hours by land from Manado, North Sulawesi, where i was born and grew up. Shortly after, a tsunami with waves of up to 18 feet (5.5 meters) hit the coast, leaving more than 1400 people found dead so far, hundreds of other people injured and dozens still missing. The death toll still expected to raise with heavily populated areas outside the city still cut off from any assistance. I lost two of my friends that stayed in Hotel Roa Roa. The eight-story hotel, was one of the thousands of buildings in Palu that collapsed, burying them and another 50 guests, I also have several friends from University are originally from Palu. All of their family were hit by this tragedy and now left homeless and desperate for daily supply. I am trying to raise money to help them get some supply they most need at this time. It's upsetting to see the aftermath of a natural disaster and i can not dare to imagine the devastation caused to them but i do know every support, every donation, regardless of size, will help them and will help to rebuild these communities. Thank you and God Bless You.
