Story
My mum suddenly passed away on 26th March, after suffering a massive stroke only 2 days earlier. The reason for our fundraising activity is to support the unit who cared for her so well 2 years ago to full recovery after her first stroke in April 2015.
My mum and dad enjoyed a tremendous 2 years doing more than they ever have as a result of the care from the Stroke Unit at the Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
We have agreed with the Stroke Unit that any funds we raise will be used directly for future patient care and we want to ensure that all stroke patients have the opportunity to receive the phenomenal attention that my mum received.
We would appreciate a donation to this page instead of flowers.
