    Story

There is growing number of people who identify as TRANSGENDER. In my every day clinical practise I meet transsexual patients who are seeking medical treatment. My role is to talk with them about their psychological needs and to help them to understand themselves better.
GENDER DYSPHORIA as a medical condition has very limited research and evidence base. There is also narrow knowledge about the outcomes of the treatment people are receiving. Both patients and clinicians should be able to make meaningful decisions. We need EVIDENCE BASED clinical researches to understand gender dysphoria, it's variations, symptoms, prognosis, factors etc.
