Hi guys, as some of you may know - my dad has advanced prostate cancer. I don't know if this page will be successful for us, but after a few people telling me 'why not' ...I thought I'd give it a go!

My dad got diagnosed in January - and we have never been away as a family, never abroad, never anywhere except for day trips! I know that it is a luxury - which is why it's never bothered me before! Since my dad has had to stop work, and I'm caring for him full time, we will never be able to afford it - and we don't know how long he will be in our lives. I just thought after everything he has been through this year, that he deserves this.

I really hope with the kindness of others and the generosity that I know people still have in this world - that you can help me take my dad on his first and last holiday/weekend away.
