    Story

Aodhan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on December 2016. 1 week before Christmas. Little did we know how much his wee life would change from that day. Learning to pricking his fingers for Blood glucose reading at least 6 times per day every day for the rest of his life and injecting Insulin at least 4 times per day every day was challenging enough for us as a family but For Aodhan he just got on with it and by the time he left hospital he was administering it all himself.. He took control of the blood Glocose tests and insulin injections. All we had to do was work out how much to give him. He has been an absolute inspiration.Amazingly brave. We are so so proud of him.
For our holidays this year we decided to go to llanberis in Wales to climb Mount Snowden and Aodhan mentioned that he wanted to raise money for Families, carers & young people who are living with Type 1 Diabetes. I was blown away as he is only 8!!! & for him to come up with this idea of climbing Snowdon for charity has made me the happiest mum alive so proud of my wee man.
So Aodhan would be so grateful if you could help him raise his target and support him in achieving his goal. Thankyou for taking the time to read his story and giving to his cause. Thankyou xxx
