I would like to raise funds so that Anthony Gotts can continue to compete within sport following a freak accident which occurred in 2007. Anthony was competing in Finland and sustained major life changing injuries during the Long Jump. He snapped 3 muscles, tore a further 7, broke his pelvis and also had a bone tumour as a result of his accident which has left him wheelchair bound.

Despite this Anthony has become the first ever person to push all the way from Lands End to John O'Groats in a manual wheelchair last year. He is currently the World Record holder and I had the privilege to cycle alongside him on one of the days, crossing over the border from England into Scotland.

Disability sporting equipment can be very expensive and I would like to help Anthony so on Saturday 2nd September 2017 I will be taking part in the Grand Tour of Skiddaw which is a 44 mile off road ultra distance marathon. I hope to complete this challenge in around 12 to 14 hours with my mate Boothy and we are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather.
