Story

Assalamualaikum, I hope you are all well and in the best of imaan. I hope the month is Ramadan is going well for you all inshaAllah. As most of you all know (close friends and family especially) Malak-Al-Maut took my Grandad (Dad's father) away from this Dunya on the 28th of December 2017 at Fajr Jammat.

My Grandad was one of the closest people to my heart. Everyday and every second I miss him immensely. He happily returned back to our Lord. My Grandad suffered from kidney disease and repeatedly refused to dyalise himself. Towards the end of his life he was still asked by Drs to dyalise himself but refused. SubhanAllah he was in desperate urge to leave this Dunya and return to his creator.

After having an interesting conversation with a good friend I have decided to raise money as an act of sadaqah jaariya to build wells and provide water for the most needy in Bangladesh and Gaza/Syria. The Syrian Water well will be donated via MuslimHands, an organization I have currently volunteered for before. InshaAllah. The tube well in Bangladesh will be built by the hands of my father InshaAllah.

This will be an act of charity from ourselves and benefit us in our graves, this will also benefit my Grandad and it was narrated that Sa’d ibn ‘Ubaadah said: "I said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah, my mother has died. Should I give charity on her behalf?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ I asked, ‘What kind of charity is best?’ He said, ‘Providing water.’" (Reported by al-Nisaa’i)

We are all traveller's in this world and will have to depart sooner or later as this life is only a short journey. Allah swt said, “Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned.” [Surah Al- ‘Ankabut, 29:57.]

I will highly appreciate anything you give on behalf of my Grandad. You will all be kept in my duahs InshaAllah moreover please keep my Grandad in you duahs InshaAllah.

I leave your well-being in the hands of Allah. Aaameen.

JazzakhAllahKhair & Wailakum Assalam.

Salaam all, just to let you all know that I have donated £190 towards a tube well on behalf of Dada tonight. May Allah accept this from everyone who donated InshaAllah. Tube well will take around 6-9 months to be completed and the name on the plaque is: Al Hajj Md Aklu Miah. Remaining will be donated on the 29th night. JazzakhAllahKhair.
