Story
In memory of Mr Eric French, we would like to adopt a tree at the National Memorial Arboretum. With the money raised, we can adopt the tree and have a plaque for Eric placed there permanently, to honour his particularly special war service with 6th Airborne Division from D-Day, Pegasus Bridge through to VE day and Germany. Due to Eric's love of all things growing, we feel this would be a fitting memorial and permanent recognition of a very special person.

7 years agoA sincere thanks to all who have kindly contributed to our idea of establishing a permanent memory for Eric to recognise his special contribution to the Nation in WWII. The arrangements continue to be in progress and it is hoped that we will be able to establish the memory plaque at the NMA on Sunday 22nd October. I will update all donors as things progress.
