The Kate Cox Foundation is a new charity set up in the memory of Kate who lost her battle against cancer. This is to help familes that need help with the rent, mortgage, food, household bills, transport to and from the hospital or hospice, days out as a change of scenery. Anything that will take away the everyday burden so that they can concentrate on spending time with there loved ones. A group of us are running 10 miles in full army gear, including boots, and carrying a 16kg back pack, believe me at 56 years of age this is no easy challenge. Training is hard but we are getting there and with perserverance we will succeed.
