Alavanyo village in Ghana has no toilet facilities for the vast majority of people. They saw the toilet block I helped build in Tafi Atome and asked if I could help them build one for themselves. With the help of donations and volunteers we made a start but need to finish it in June 2019. The villagers give up their time and labour to dig sand, make blocks and help with the building but as subsistence farmers they do not have the cash to be able to buy the building materials. Every little helps please donate £5.00 for a bag of cement to help build the wall, £10.00 to buy some sheeting for the roof. We want to reduce the distress caused by simple preventable diseases by collecting the rainwater so we can feed taps to wash hands afterwards but it all cost money. Every little helps.
