Since October 2016 mat hasn't been able to hold any food or liquid down at all. Constant vomiting with no diagnosis has left him half his body weight. He was a healthy 85kgs before Oct and now weighs 48kgs.he has no muscle left and need help walking standing dressing washing everything. We have been vigorously trying to find the cause of the sickness. Mat has been on a tpn feed, had a peg feed tube inserted through his stomach down to his intestine to try and get nutrition into him. That didn't work so the most recent operation on the 13th March was a jejonostomy. A 3inch incision above his belly button and a feeding tube lower down to go into his bowel. He was recovering ok until 16th March when he had a failed discharge from Dr's and came home in the morning and by the night time after being on a litre of highly concentrated nutrition his body was in some kind of shock. He had apnea (breathing stopping when falling asleep) violently sick 2/3 litres of bile although he hadn't had anything orally for a week. Then as we got in the ambulance he had a seizure. We got to ane and after another 2/3 litres of bile vomited up he had a massive seizure and was rushed to resus and resuscitated. He then had a nasal tube inserted(very big and painful) to drain the bile out his stomach to try and stop him being sick. Friday he had a lot of sleep and sat morning he was stable and feeling a bit better. He came home yest evening and over night extreme pain has got worse and more vomiting bile has started. I've begged the Dr's to do xrays and scans of his bowels tho as they have now gone on strike 2 movements in 5 weeks. And they won't do a colonoscopy or xray or scan. So now we are in the process of going to the royal free hospital in London to see a specialist gastroenterologist to try and get answers. The specialist in Cardiff doesn't know what to do and nor does his consultant. My husband is fading away from starvation in front of me and our children and family and we need help
