What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

For the majority of my life, I have enjoyed playing chamber music both formally and informally. This love that I have developed, is mainly owed to the Pro Corda chamber music course whom which I first attended when I was ten years old. It was the place where I played my first quartet, and the place that granted me a strong foundation in musical education. Pro Corda is one of Europe's leading music organisations and it operates the International Chamber Music Academy for young musicians. An educational charity established in 1969, its mission is to provide musical training for a wide range of young people through ensemble training and performance specialising in chamber music.

This summer, I will be running a half marathon (13.1 miles) along Offas Dyke, as part of a charity fundraising initiative. The money that is raised will be put towards the development of Pro Corda's medieval barn, used to hold many of their concerts, as well as other new developments.
