Weʼve raised £180 to help 2 charities in India that support children who are either orphans or street children from extremely marginalised communities
- Aberdeen, UK
- Funded on Wednesday, 31st October 2018
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Funds raised from this event will go towards two projects in India. The projects based in Delhi (Bethesda Children’s Network) and Mumbai (Maharastra Baptist Society Children’s Hostel) support children who are either orphans or street children from extremely marginalised communities looked after by foster parents, while the women are former sex workers who are provided with basic education and tailoring skills enabling them to seek alternative employment.

About the fundraiser
Having visited and supported these charities for some time I have chosen to celebrate my 60th birthday by raising funds for these very worthy causes through this event.
