Story
As some of you may already know, my other half, Nik Walder, had a trampolining coaching accident on the 2nd March this year and is currently in rehab at the Alderbourne Rehabilitation Unit in Hillingdon.
The Alderbourne Rehabilitation Unit is for those who have suffered with either a stroke or a spinal injury. It provides patients and families with a garden space to refresh, relax and spend time together. As well as this, it provides an open space for the patients to spend time away from treatments and the confinements of their rooms/ wards to reinvigorate.
Over the years, the garden has become 'tired' and suffers from a lack of maintenance. Nik and I decided it would be really nice to 'give back' and revamp the garden to be a more uplifting place and provide a more inspiring experience for both patients and families.
