King James needs a new 3G astro turf sports pitch, the astro turf pitch that is there at the moment is not fit for purpose. Unfortunately with schools funding being cut year on year, the school can not afford to fund the pitch from their budget.

I believe the facility would be of great benefit to the local community, the school pupils and as a coach involved with Knaresborough Celtic, it would make a significant difference as a training and match day facility.

Please help me raise some much needed funds for this development.

So to raise funds I am taking part in the York-Leeds-York cycling sportive. 100 miles with over 2600ft of climbing. Ive cycled quite a bit over the last few years but the most ive done in one go is about 90k, so this will be a major challenge. Im hoping to do it in about 8hrs, but just crossing the line will be an achievement.
