Weʼre raising £200 to George is taking part in a charity boxing fight and is aiming to raise as much as he can for The Odd Socks Foundation.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
The odd socks foundation was founded by Lynsey and Nicola who both have personal experience and knowledge on dealing with disabilities. We are aware of the difficulties when going through the momentous stages of testing and diagnosis and the impact this has on the family as well as the individual. We have quickly realised that the resources of information and support for before, during and after these stages are often scarce and it was due to this reason, odd socks was born! We aim to provide a compassionate and empathetic service for parents/carers by offering drop in sessions in the form of a coffee morning and an open door police when we have our “office days” where you can pop along for a coffee, chat and even a shoulder to cry on. We are going to be offering monthly discos, weekly arts and craft sessions, drama classes and cookery classes to begin and many more services to be offered in the future!
