sMagistratessI have just signed up for Tough Mudder 5K for August 25th! Madness! Only 7 weeks to train!! But all for a great cause!!!

I am raising funds towards Olive’s costs! A dog we ( Olive’s Fight Against BSL) have been fighting for since April 2016!

Beautiful Olive (we the public named her) was picked up as a Stray in Hillingdon, April 2016! She was left with a severe prolapse, intestines hanging out and at risk of septicemia, before we arranged for surgery! The police said she was of Pitbull type, making her a banned breed, so was sentenced to death solely on looks until we the public got involved!!! The council worked with us! We agreed to pay her vets and kennel fees, we had her speyed, and we arranged an independent assessment to challenge the type report by police!

Our expert independent assessment found Olive not to be of Pitbull type! The police didnt back down and seized Olive from council care!

2 years on, we have been through the courts! Magitrates and the High Court! We are back to Magistrates in Sept! The police were awarded the costs on the last court session! And we had to raise £16,500 by 6th June 2018! We managed to raise £8272 and put forward a proposal of a payment plan for the remainder! The police wont accept a payment plan and we now have 1 month to raise the remainder of the costs!!!

Olive has passed 3 behaviour assessments! Has been found not Pitbull type on our independent assessment done by our Expert Clinical Vet behaviourist! A loving home awaits! She is not a danger to the public! WHATS HER CRIME YOU ASK??? HER LOOKS AND BEING A STRAY!!!! THIS IS BSL!!! MEASUREMENTS!!!!
