Weʼve raised £2,930 to Raise money in memory of my Mum, Wendy Daykin.

Funded on Saturday, 1st September 2018

    Story

On April 30th 2018 it will mark 10 years since my Mum sadly lost her battle to Ovarian Cancer. In memory of her, in early July I am planning to do a bike ride in order to raise money in memory of the amazing life she had. The money I will raise will be split between two charities: cancer research to allow more research into how to stop the disease and to Katherine house, the place who looked after her in her last few months of life. I will be riding around 230 miles over a period of three days to Tenby, Wales which was her most favourite place to visit. I  am hoping to be able to raise £2,000 for the 2 years of which she suffered through her battle. Any donations big or little will be much appreciated to help me reach my goal, thank you.

Would love to say a massive Thankyou to everyone who donated and supported me in my bike ride. I’m please to say the overall total doubled my goal and I’ve managed to raise £4,000. That’s £2,000 to each charity! Again Thankyou everyone so much x

That’s it! We did it! Now I’m my favourite place. Done all for my incredible Mum, sharif the view she loved so much. Thankyou everyone for your donations. I managed 223.7 miles(missing out of some of the massive hills which were literally impossible!) Josh managed 238.5 miles completing one of the biggest mountains I’ve seen in my life! Thankyou everyone for donations and support! Was a lovely surprise to see a lot of my family there at the finish line too!
