Christmas day can be the best day of the year for some, spent surrounded by friends and family, giving and receiving presents, eating great food.

Although, this is not the case for everyone. Some spend it alone, whether it be in a hostel, a woman's shelter or even due to the loss of loved ones. Even some working families struggle with providing the Christmas day they would love to give.

I am very fortunate to run a fish and chip cafe down Barry Island, with means of opening to the public Christmas day and providing them with memories that will last forever. I plan on feeding everyone my signature fish and chips on Christmas day, with added Christmas cheer and mince pies.

Although I am just one small person trying to archive a large goal, I can not do it without some help. I'm looking for donations, whether they be some blankets to provide warmth and homeliness on the day, to cash donations to help with things like petrol I can give to those offering to deliver food for me.

Every penny will make a difference.
