Story
Hey!
My name is Alicja. I am mum of an ex 27 weeker Anthony. Anthony will be 1 at the end of this month and he never been home. We have been in Belfast hospital for 11 months with no luck. At the moment (since 8th of January) we are in England in Birmingham children's hospital. They are amazing in here! They saved our son!
Anthony is suffering from many different illnesses. Our big problem was he got NEC twice when he was a tiny baby. NEC is an intestines desease. Due to it Anthony have his large intestine removed completely and only 1 meter of small intestine left. The main issue was feeding. He has never had any milk in his belly until we came to Birmingham. They done another surgery and they were able to fix everything! There is still a looooong way on front of us but everything is on the right track.
There is no words to thank all the doctors and nurses in the hospital in Birmingham. The only little thing we may try to do is to raise some money for amazing Ward 2 in Birmingham Children's hospital. So they could buy some new chairs for parents or some new toys for their play room :)
If anyone have any questions please feel free to contact me :)
