Hi there, my name is Alisha and i'm 7 years old next month(November). My mummy is typing this as it would take me a long time to do.

I'm wanting to raise £500 to buy gifts for the children in hospital in case father Christmas doesn't know they are in hospital. I've been growing my hair for two years now after I saw a clip of a little girl that had no hair. Mummy explained to me that some children are sick and this can make them lose their hair unfortunately. After mummy said this I replied "mummy I have lots of long hair, can i give them mine? " to which mummy then showed me the website www.littleprincesses.org.uk where you can cut your hair, send it to them and hopefully it gets turned in to a wig for a little girl or boy who needs one. My hair is now soooooooo long its time to cut it; a whole 13 inches to be turned in to a wig (I will post photos and update you all).

Mummy and me talk a lot about what I wanted to raise money for, and its really hard to pick who to raise it for. One afternoon i started to write my Christmas list (you need to get it in early mummy says) so i started to write it and think hard about what it was I would like. I came up with three things I would like (all Fingerlings) and wondered if any other presents could go to children in hospital; with father Christmas being so busy, he might not know the children are there.

Mummy said, "Why not raise the money to buy the toys and take them to the hospital?" I thought this was a great idea!

So this is my story and why i'm cutting my hair, please give as much as you can and help me get to my target.
