We are hoping to buy a second hand caravan by the sea or by a lake for Autistic children and there families. Being a grandmother of an autisic grandson i know how hard it is to find somewhere safe to take my grandson on holiday and we know so many disabled children in this area would really benefit from a holiday as some do not or cannot go away because of safety reasons and the expense of renting somewhere safe. So we want to find somewhere that gives the children a fun time some where near a beach or a lake where we can just ask for a donation to be put in a envelope towards the ground rent / electricity and gas as a payment for a weeks holiday. Even if you can spare a £1 that would help us to get to our target, if you want to stay in touch with us we will be putting a facebook page up where once we have enough money there will be pictures of our journey with notes from the families and children.
