Story
Matt and Sammy are running their first 5K on Sunday 22nd July at the Big Fun Run at Colwick Park. They have chosen to raise money for OWEN (Open Water Education Network), a charity set up in memory of Owen Jenkins, a 12 year old boy, whom they both knew, who tragically died last summer when he jumped into the river near Beeston Weir to save a girl from drowning. Owen's family have set up this charity in Owen's name to educate young people how to understand, respect and enjoy water safely.
