My husband Mark is taking part in the Route 66 challenge in May this year. I have created this page to help raise the £900 to make his dream become reality.

For the last few years my husband has been suffering with quite severe bi-polar disorder and finds it very difficult to do many things most people take for granted.

The challenge consists of my husband riding along route 66 to Las Vegas with a team if veterans who are all sufferring from either debilitating injuries, mental health problems and motor neurone disease.

The Route 66 challenge for wounded and sick veterans and is a perfect opportunity for my husband to take part in this once in a lifetime adventure.

The money raised on this page will, in the first instance, help to support the cost of the route 66 challenge, and secondly, give back to the veterans charities that helped him get this far. Any extra money will be donated to motor neurones disease research, hidden disability charities and Hull 4 heroes.
