Well on 6th Aug myself, My brother in law and a work friend completed the Bassetlaw triathlon. the weather was good and the event a huge success. In the hope of raising more money for Alistair and his family i as have friends signed up to do 2 further events both 10km runs the first is the Doncaster Trail on Sep 24th and the 2nd is the Skegness 10km run on 19th Nov. For those that know me running is not my strongest skill. Please try and donate to this worthy cause and raise a little more for Alistair and his family. Thank you in advance

As an update i would like to thank my work colleagues in the Northern Team who at a meeting yesterday by way of fines and general donations managed to raise a fantastic £107.48, I cannot thank them enough and their names too many to mention. we are steadily moving towards the desired target with a few other events in the pipeline. This money will be handed to Alistair and his Family when we go to visit him next week. Thanks Northern team for the great effort.

I spoke to Alistair yesterday and told him about the page and the progress that has been made, he was to say the least speechless at the generosity of friends and work colleagues. He is back in hospital for now as his treatment continues . We are hoping to arrange to get to see him next week when i will ask for a few pictures to place on the page. Alistair i am sure if he could would thank each and every person who has donated personally. Those that know him know that he is a genuine man who has the courage and the strength to beat this.
