Stuart has been a police officer for nearly 30 years , proudly serving the community with Derbyshire Constabulary, committing his working life to keeping people safe. He was very much looking forward to his well earned retirement in May, unfortunately the excitement was taken away from him with the awful diagnosis which is cruelly taking his future away.

He is literally the kindest and bravest man you could ever wish to meet. I can’t bear the thought of life without him or my children not growing up with him by their side. He is their hero, their rock, their all time favourite person who they love unconditionally.

Unfortunately Stuart just missed out on the criteria for a new immunotherapy trial being done on the NHS .

Immunotherapy is an innovative type of treatment which involves the stimulation of the body’s immune system to recognise tumour cells as “foreign” and therefore kill them.
This and the Optune treatment , seemingly worn by Dame Tessa Jowell in her own brave fight against brain cancer, which
statistically and clinically has shown a significant increase in overall survival of patients diagnosed glioblastoma . Both of these treatment options are well developed for use in America and clinics and hospitals in Europe (especially Germany)

The treatment is there we just can't afford to have it ....

A persons life matters and no one is more important than another regardless of their bank account. I can’t just sit back knowing treatment is out there and do nothing.

Please help get him the treatment he deserves ❤️
