Well, with two days to go, we have raised over £1500 for Evelyn. The people of Chorley (and beyond) were so moved by what happened to her that they have given generously to help her with her home security, raise her spirits and to show that there are more good guys than bad guys out there. Well, so happy to be able to report that the fund for Mrs. Birchall has, after only 5 days, smashed through the target and now has £1060. JustGiving funds go on for one month, so we can let this roll for a while, so that she can have a large fund to spend on whatever she needs or wants. Your generosity has been amazing. I was also touched to see on the news that a she is being given CCTV free of charge, a holiday and so much more. It is great to know that although there are bad people in the world, most of us will pull together when needed.
