,The Holly Clacy Foundation was set up in January 2018 by members of Holly‘s family and South Woodham Ferrers community impacted by 15 year old Holly‘s tragic suicide in November 2017. The Foundation is raising awareness of the pressures and emotional stresses faced by children and young adults in modern life. We are working with healthcare professionals on a number of initiatives aimed at improving children’s emotional wellbeing.

It is also creating a garden area near to the spot where Holly died at Radar Hill, in order that the local community can continue to enjoy its beauty for generations to come. In November 2018, the Foundation signed a lease over a parcel of land and was finally able to begin to work on the garden. Two beautiful oak benches bought with donations from a local businessman and the community, have been placed near to Holly’s tree.
