This is an appeal to help my direct nephew Alvin Lugano Kirasi with Hospital treatment who has been diagnosed with leukaemia (All, blood cancer). We are requesting assistance due to the treatment being delayed as a result of a recent doctors strike in Kenya. This lack of care has worsened his condition and recently he started on chemotherapy which increases the cost of medical treatment weekly. As of today the treatment bill has hit £2000 at the moment but this is increasing everyday due to continued treatment and hospital care costs.

Alvin is a hard working young man as a mobile handyman but has been unable to work and support himself and his wife and child due to his ill health. He was due to start training as a mechanic through the pledge of a Good Samaritan but that has not been possible. Both his parents in Kenya are unemployed and are struggling to assist in helping their son during this trying time.

We would like to receive financial support to help Alvin to continue with his hospital treatment. There is pressure to raise funds as the hospital in Eldoret, Kenya is threatening to stop treatment unless payments are received. We are appealing to well wishers for help, every little bit raised will help in the bigger scheme of things.
