This page has been set up by parents of pupils of the Musical Theatre Course at the Dance School of Scotland.

The Dance School of Scotland and it is the country’s only fully funded centre of excellence for vocational dance and musical theatre. The school, which is incorporated into Knightswood Secondary School, is funded by The Scottish Government and is available to talented youngsters from all over Scotland.

It is a truly unique facility where incredibly dedicated and talented teachers and tutors inspire and nurture gifted young people in Dance, Singing and Drama to succeed in the the world of Theatre.

Each year the school showcases the talents of S5 and S6 pupils in the end of year show at the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow. This is a significant opportunity for pupils in their preparation for the professional world of Musical Theatre. However, although the major costs for the show (set, props, costumes) are covered by the school's funding, any additional items such as the programmes are not covered and the school would appreciate any donation, however small, to help with this.Thank you.
