Story
The Swansea Festival of Stitch 2018 is a huge, biannual festival of all things textile. Part of it is the Children's Project which, this year, involves school pupils designing and making covers for deckchairs on the theme of 'The Sea'. These will be displayed on Mumbles Pier in August as part of the Festival. We need 35 deckchairs for this to happen but sadly, we've been let down by our supplier. We've managed to get hold of 15 old deckchairs but still need 20 more and will have to buy them. The Festival itself has such a limited budget I'm asking all you kind and generous friends to sponsor a deckchair. They cost £20, but any donation would be gratefully received. You'll get your name on a deckchair to say thank you. The children have already started designing and making the canvas covers so it would be such a disappointment if they didn't have the chairs to put them on. Thank you x

There's a first time for everything! And this is the first time I've sponsored a deckchair. Makes me feel a bit edgy!
