Weʼre raising £500 to help fund a van for Adaptive Martial Arts CIC who teach fitness to those who need it most, the disabled, injured and people in ill-health.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Adaptive Martial Arts CIC is a registered not-for-profit, we provide Martial Arts and fitness training to those who need it most, the disabled, injured and people in ill-health.

Our aim is to inspire, empower and build confidence in the people who don’t usually get to experience the joys of Martial Arts and how it can build confidence in people.

We are doing an increasing amount of Outreach work and we want to help even more people. We have been relying on borrowing a van from local small businesses and friends. We have been lucky to have a great local businesses around AMA to help support us.

To continue, increase and to meet demand, AMA has ordered a small Electric van so we can transport our equipment.

With the current government grant, running cost and Electric being in keeping with our ethos, the EV N200 was the perfect choice.

Equally being a young not-for-profit we were unable to go for a used van to keep our costs lower. We therefore need some community support so that AMA can continue its Outreach and keep growing. In the past 2 years we have had over 500 people through our sessions and out reach sessions, with this van we will be able to increase this dramatically.

Any help is greatly appreciated, of course there are also official sponsorship opportunities.
