AmaCares plans to raise more awareness about sexual abuse in the rural parts of Ghana.

AmaCares is an NGO that is determined to help women and children who are sexually abused.

Sexual abuse has become a norm in our society, our work places and even in the families. Research show that about 33% of women who are sexually abuse contemplate suicide. Statistic has proven that 1 in 3 girls are sexually abused before the age of 16 and 1 in 5 women are sexually abused daily.
This is heart heart breaking.

Funds will go towards:
1. Holding self defence workshops to enable young woman to defend themselves  against their attacker.

2. Paying for empowerment seminars to boost the confidence of victims.

3. Paying for sexual abuse seminars to create awareness in the communities.

4. Help victims who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ( PTSD).

5. Paying for professional counsellors who will offer counselling to victims.
