Training to run along Blackpool promenade isn't bad at all, as long as the weather is ok. I started my training by joining a running club at the gym a couple of months ago leading up to Blackpool's 10k fun run, which I completed in 1hour and 6 minutes. Ive kept it going by running at least 3/4 times a week and slowly achieving longer distances. Still a way of half a marathon yet but come September I'll be ready.
