The Day family set up SLS group in July 2014 on Facebook to help provide sandwich pack provision for a Bristol Saturday voluntary run project called Street life. "Hunger was rife on the streets and we wanted to make a difference because we could". The aim was to help for a few weeks of the Summer however the community got behind SLS and something amazing happened.
We asked friends for help and the community followed. Within months this provision stretched to Newport in South Wales and now in our 3rd year we have nearly 3000 members collecting critical resources of camping resources, street clothing, food stuffs and toiletries and making sandwich packs for the hungry across South Wales & Bristol all year round. https://www.facebook.com/groups/streetlifesarnies.bristol/
