Imagine our excitement when our funny dancing boy - Leo, has been asked to dance in New York next year! What an experience! He has been dancing at First Position School of Dance (who have just won Dance school of the year 3rd year in a row)since he was 3 years old. I can wholeheartedly admit that I "encouraged" this direction as I wanted to see what he could achieve with one of my favorite parts of his body - HIS FEET!! He is not a natural dancer by any means, however, his acceptance in taking direction in placing his, arms, legs, head & body has been exceptional. Leo listens to his supportive dance teacher - Miss Natalie Pearl, with an open mind and has this admiring respect for her - especially when she has had to call him the Prince dinosaur - as per his request of course.

His dad and I will be saving profusely in order to pay for myself and Leo to fly out to New York with accommodation and some spends!! £££ has already been shelled out for his place at the theatre to perform, his rehearsal, finale t-shirt, smile production award and my ticket to watch along with my program!

Dancing may not be Leo's dream right now or ever in fact - but he does display a proudness along with his fellow dance mates and feels so accomplished when he has performed on stage. The support he receives from his family & friends is immense & unconditional!
