The past of Cambodia is filled with terrible things. The killings and people being forced to live in rural Cambodia. These tragedies have left some people in Cambodia in poverty, even today, years after these events took place. I have been offered this wonderful opportunity from camps international, to go to Cambodia for 4 weeks in 2020. When I am there I will be meeting the children who still live in extreme poverty and I will be helping to build a school for the poor children who cannot afford to school. As a part of the trip, we are hoping to plant as many trees as possible, to counteract the illegal deforestation that takes place due to the poverty. But to do all of this costs money.
