Weʼre raising £1,840 to fund an exhibition on showcasing the ambition and beauty of Bengali Women.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Made in Bangladesh is a three part exhibition which seeks to showcase the raw beauty of women from Bangladesh also to finally give Bangladesh the recognition it deserves, and to celebrate the vibrancy of the culture. Above all I really want to provide opportunities for women. Allowing them to express themselves and become confident in their own skin, all whilst learning or teaching something about their culture. Part two of this exhibition requires myself travelling to Bangladesh to carry out the filming and photography project. I will create a platform for women in Bangladesh also to express their creative nature and be recognised for their talents. Whilst there, I will collaborate with women in their natural environment and see how I can further broaden their prospects to keep rising and reaching their potential. I want to help nurture the art and culture in Bangladesh, because it connects us all over the world. So I will also be going into schools and delivering creative sessions, and facilitating creative arts events for all women, children and men. This is why I really need your support! Your donation will go towards the logistics of the exhibition and the funding of the sessions/events.
I have great optimism for this project, and have a star team behind me. It's your donation that can really make this happen!
