when i was 18, i was diagnosed with Crohns Disease in November 2016. It is thought that i have had this for many years. I was hospitalised after dramatic weight loss, no appetite, fatigue, feeling ill, extreme pain over my stomach and both of my eyes were incredibly inflammed. I was unaware of what was going on and after numerous tests and scans the doctors discovered that i had Crohns Disease. The inflammation in my eyes has caused me to not be able to see normally again, leaving scarring and a cataract in one eye. This was the most horible time of my life, which has given me the inspiration to talk about this and help other in need. If Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis is more talked about, then more people will know the symptoms and will get the medical attention they need. I currently am having an Infusion (drip) every 8 weeks to keep away my symptoms.
