Story
Max Johnson aged 9 months , has been generally a healthy little boy until last week when he took ill and after seeing the GP and a week of no change, his parents decided to take him to Ormskirk A & E on the 2/10/17, when it quickly escalated from there and today 3/10/17 Max was taken to Alder Hey and family where told he has a Brain Tumour: Ependymoma. Max will undergo surgery on Friday 6/10/17 to hopefully remove all of the tumour. The family have been told even if this operation is successful in removing all the tumour at once the process of recovery will take some time.
All Max's family and friends pray for the best outcome for Max and a quick recovery. As you can imagine his parents Keira and Tony do not want to leave his side. We are fundraising to support the family so while they be with their son Max through these tough times and during his recovery they don't have to worry about finances. As many will know Keira Mum is self employedand obviously her loss income will put added worry to the family, so we are hoping the money raised will help the family through these tough times, and allow them to fully concentrate on getting Max better.

6 years agoUpdate on our mighty max. Max is doing really well. He is now into his 3rd cycle of chemo. During his last cycle he picked up a nasty infection it was a bit scary and wiped him out for a few days, but being the strong fighter he is, he was able to go home and complete the treatment. He also had to have a couple of blood and platelet transfusions. On the 26thFeb he had his first MRI since the tumour was removed, the results show nothing has returned and that his treatment is to continue as it is. Keep up the fight max your doing amazing 💪💙

6 years agoJust an update on Our Mighty Max. Max was able to spend Christmas an new year at home with his family despite a few visits to the hospital as he picked up some viruses and was dehydrated. However this has passed noand he’s back to his happy self. The majority of Max’s hair has fell out now and this was devastating for family, but fortunately our little solider is non the wiser. Max Into his second stage of chemo and due in tomorrow. Max continues to overcome every little hurdle and is just amazing. We love you Mighty Max 💙💪🏼 Keep fighting

7 years agoHi all, just a little update on our Mighty Max. He celebrated his 1st birthday last Mon at home with his family, 🎂💙🎁 Although a little visit to Daycare as the little monkey pulled out his central line, he was pencilled in for Fri to go back to theatre to have it put back in and his stitches taken out. Theatre got cancelled Fri but he still had his stitches out and is now back in today for his line to be put back in. We are all hoping this all goes to plan as he starts his third cycle of chemo on Wed. Well done Max your doing amazing 💙
