Eve and I plan to travel to Lourdes, France with the Hexam and Newcastle diocese in July, staying for a week to assist the elderly and disabled pilgrims that travel with us. For this to happen, we need to fundraise a total of £1200 between us, the costs of the pilgrimage are high but every penny of it is worth the joy the week brings to all involved, While we are there, we provide an opportunity for the elderly and disabled, which for most the week is also the highlight of their year, to be able to experience a week filled with kindness and spirituality. As members of the youth section, we assist in a variety of ways, including the (not so) occasional sing along! We would be extremely grateful for any size contribution to our fundraising, it would mean the world to us!
