For those that know our history, you won't need the explanation, for those that don't - this is the reason we need your help!!

We lost our beloved chocolate labrador unexpectedly to cancer at the age of 9, this not only upset us, it left our family with a giant hole !
A giant hole that desperately needed filling, as not only did she leave us, she left behind her 3yr old daughter - beanie.

Beanie became depressed very quickly and was missing her mum, her companion so we decided that We all needed some help to fill this hole - another dog !

We decided to rescue a labrador to fulfil this need and provide beans with a playmate of a similar age, we came across Bailey.
Bailey (known then as Riley) was a beautiful red labrador 14months old, house trained , dog/child friendly - she sounded perfect!!
We were told that Bailey had suffered a dog attack as a puppy which had broken her jaw, but this was to no effect in her adult life. Other than this she was a clean bill of health.
We had her vet card and KC papers also her microchip details, everything seemed in order - so we bought her home !

4 days later we had a vet check her over, to which we found this problem.
Her previous owner was contacted after 4 days of her leaving them - to say 'she was fine when she left'.

Bailey needs a hip replacement at the age of 15months old - she already has an abnormal walking gait, new bone growth occurring in her socket joints and a patella luxation in her right knee.
Much to our anger and upset we will give Bailey the best life we possibly can, but to put her hip right and give her this chance it's going to cost around £5,000.
We have her insured but the insurance will NOT pay out as it's classed as a pre existing condition as she has had this probably from a puppy unknown to us on purchase.
Her previous owners have been very deceitful, we bought Bailey as a rescue to help a dog that needed a new home - not thousands of pounds vets bills.
So I plead with your heart you can help us, please donate ANYTHING as it's going to be a long journey for us all!
She deserves a good life - she's adorable!
