I am 17 and am applying for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to Sri Lanka with Plan My Gap Year. I hope I can raise enough money to be able to go by August 2017. This money will go towards flights and other essentials, so I can help a third world country overcome it's financial and medical problems. I hope to work in a Laboratory and well as many other places of work to teach others about basic hygiene and contribute something to those who need it.
