I'm Ana, I grew up in Holmfirth- totally obsessed with sports- played football for Huddersfield Town ladies, Basketball for Yorkshire, but my main passion was Cricket. I played locally for an U13 and U15 boys team, as the female game was underdeveloped.

I had a break to concentrate on college, university and career development.

In 2022, I started playing softball cricket for my local club Blackley, which then turned in to hardball cricket 40 over and T20 format for Cookridge.

I was recently contact by the Serbia International Cricket Federation who are a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and have been offered an opportunity to play internationally for Serbia.

Cricket in Serbia is in the early stages of development. I will be required to fund this once in a lifetime opportunity myself.

The funding will help me pay fees for my citizenship which I require by ICC rules and travel overseas to get me started.

This experience will give me an opportunity to improve my coaching skills and knowledge. As I have recently completed my Level 2 Cricket Coaching to give back and support women and girls in their cricketing journey.
