Fraser has always been a very sweet little dog. He always loved the outdoors like most dogs and he still does a great deal.

The vet recently told me that Fraser from examination seems to have a slipped disc and even though he can walk in a straight line, he can't climb stairs anymore and like a person he goes through sporadic periods of back ache and then it dissipates and he has peace and then it comes back. I long to relieve my buddy of his back ache but I just don't have the amount of money I need to be able to raise the funds for his scan and then an operation.

Fraser is still the same dog, very affectionate, really looks forward to meal times, drinks well and likes to go outside often to breath the fresh air. According to urine strips tests done by the vet he doesn't have any urinary or kidney failures or diabetes. He is presently on metacam, forever aloe vera juice, flexible joints for dogs with glaucosamine, eats grain free harringtons or royal cannine mixed with butchers dog meat. Fraser also ocassionally get's a human treat if it is dog friendly.

He is still adoringly inquisitive, responsive, will sit up and listen to everything your'e saying to him, goes to the door to see who is there and enjoys walks but wishes he could do more and despises wearing his coat and will not walk an inch if I put it on him. Fraser has a great character and enjoys joining in with everything including prayer and loves music. I would love to finish the happy ending to his story. Without any help the disc may worsen and eventually his back could collapse leaving him on death row in agony and having to be put down with trauma from the pain.
