Weʼre raising £3,000 to Raise money for the Lewin Ward @ Addenbrookes Hospital.
- 7 days to go
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Back in February this year my super healthy and active Mum had a severe stroke and was rushed to Addenbrookes Hospital, where she still remains fighting to recover enough to return home.
Throughout the year my Dad has been by her side, day in day out caring for her, motivating her, loving her.
And like my Dad, the Hospital has been incredible. Particularly the Stroke Rehab Lewin Ward who have simply been amazing.
Much as this has been an incredibly difficult time for our family we have also witnessed the best of the human spirit from the amazing staff, Nurses and Doctors from the Lewin Ward and others.
So at the end of this year I decided I wanted to do something for the ward and the patients in it.
I had 10 days free so I decided to rent my Brain, in order to help the Brains of others. I set myself the challenge of working for 10 companies in 10 days and letting those companies pay me what they think my brain is worth. With every penny going to the Lewin Ward fund, which is called Rehab 77. Where the money is used to provide valuable equipment to aid the speedy recovery of patients on the ward.
So thank you to all the amazing companies that allowed me to come and flex my brain on the their business and I guess this page will reveal if my brain is any good :-)
Thanks all. Andy
