Story
The project focuses on enhancing people’s lives, their surroundings, provides job opportunities and encourages behaviour change in a manner that fits within the sustainable development management plan, good corporate citizen model and staff engagement programme. The core principles of the project are defined as social, ecological and economic. Activities taking place within the project will incorporate these 3 key principles.
Paid apprenticeships and worker roles as part of a rehabilitation care plan City and Guilds training programme level 1 and 2. Volunteer opportunities for the wider community. Annual food growing programme for patient and staff meals. Working closely with local schools, young person groups, adult groups and other external organisations to promote the core principles of the project and benefit the local population. Develop income revenue streams to enhance patient experience and core functions.
