Six lads, Tommy, Garry, Joey, Jack, Robbie and myself are participating in the Snowdonia Triple Challenge in May 2019. The challenge includes 10 miles trekking, 2.5 miles kayaking and 12 miles cycling and we wish to do this event so as we can help raise money for the Paul Lavelle Foundation, a charity which was setup by a group of family and friends following the tragic passing of Paul to domestic abuse.

Although I didn't know Paul or "Lavey" (as he was more familiarly known ) very well, I did know that he was a massively respected and liked person and his passing has deeply hurt many people. All six of us are lucky enough to know some of his friends and we are in awe of the amount of work they have done to get the foundation up and running and the lengths that some of them have gone to in raising money during its relative infancy.

This shows just how much Lavey was thought of. One of the aims of the Foundation is to build a community hub for both male and female victims of domestic abuse in Paul's name which is mind blowing. The foundation also helps raise money for other charities across Merseyside. The six of us would all be very grateful if you could spare a few pounds to help with this great cause.
